Jakarta. Legendary dangdut singer Elvy Sukaesih is set to light up the stage at this year's Synchronize Fest, even bringing an international twist to her performance.

The 2025 Synchronize Fest, which will take place at Jakarta's Gambir Expo on Oct. 3-5, comes with a fully star-studded lineup. Elvy Sukaesih -- a household name in the Indonesian folk music dangdut scene -- will pair up with Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra on the festival's third day. The Japanese band, also known as Skapara, debuted in 1988 and had a huge influence on Japanese music.

This would not be the first time for Elvy Sukaesih to be on the same stage as Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra. Both artists last performed together back in 1996 in Tokyo. It would also not be the first time for the Queen of Dangdut to play for the Synchronize Fest crowd.

"I'm very grateful for this opportunity. Praise be to God. Last year, I was given the chance to perform at the 2024 Synchronize Fest, which coincided with my 60th anniversary in the music industry," Elvy Sukaesih recently told a press conference in Jakarta.

"The crowd really enjoyed it. That made me proud and happy. Hopefully, it will be even more exciting this time," she said.

The three-day event will bring together musicians of different generations, starting from the 60's to even the 2000s. Other artists include The Lantis, .Feast, Jamrud, Padi Reborn, and many more. The full lineup is available on the event's official website synchronizefestival.com and social media channels.
