Participants from Bandung, Jakarta, Bogor, and other regions will race along a scenic route passing some of the city’s historic landmarks, including Gedung Merdeka, Jalan Banceuy, Bandung City Hall, and other heritage sites, before crossing the finish line in front of eL Hotel Bandung.

The event reflects the growing popularity of fun runs across Indonesia, attracting people of all ages who see it as an opportunity to combine fitness with leisure.

“My preparation is simple, since I’m still a beginner. Every morning I walk around my neighborhood. To join a fun run like this, you can’t just show up -- you need to be fit and used to running,” he explained.

Asep added that maintaining health is no longer just a lifestyle choice but a necessity.

“Staying healthy isn’t just a lifestyle, it’s a need -- because sometimes health can be very costly,” he said.

The eL Run 2025 combines fitness, community spirit, and Bandung’s cultural heritage, aiming to inspire more people to embrace an active lifestyle.
