Garuda Indonesia Domestic Flight Passengers to Pay Extra to Pick Seats
Jakarta. Flag carrier Garuda Indonesia announced it would charge domestic flight passengers if they wish to pick their own seats starting on Saturday.
According to Garuda Indonesia, the passengers will pay the additional costs when booking their flights be it online or offline.
The policy applies to passengers who wish to pick where they will be sitting during the flight: be it regular seats or seats with extra leg rooms (row 21 or emergency seats). The airline will show the total extra costs during payment.
“For [seats on] row 21, passengers can only [pick their seats] on the left and right sides of B777 and A330 planes,” Garuda Indonesia said.
