Enggartiasto Lauds Stem Cell Therapy at RSCM
Jakarta. Former Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita knows firsthand the benefits of stem cell therapy and on Thursday, he shared his experience at Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) in Jakarta, where he once received the treatment to heal his ailing knee.
Enggartiasto said that despite undergoing the regenerative medicine procedure only once, the benefits were almost immediate.
"I had a knee problem at that time. In 2019, a colleague shared his [stem cell] therapy experience performed by Professor Ismail. I decided to try it myself, and after just one treatment, I could immediately feel the great benefit of this therapy," Enggartiasto said during a seminar titled Harmony in Stem Cell at RSCM.
Enggartiasto, who is also executive chairman of B-Universe Media Holdings, said he was able to return to his physical activities following the therapy. However, he admitted that he resumed his routine too soon.
"I was advised to rest first, but I thought I had fully recovered because of the positive results that came immediately,” he said.
“This time, I will have another therapy, and I promise you, Professor Ismail, that I will take the necessary rest during the recovery period," he said, referring to Ismail Hadisoebroto Dilogo, head of the stem cell therapy center at RSCM.
Enggartiasto congratulated RSCM on becoming the first hospital in Indonesia to have a stem cell therapy service certified by the Drug and Food Supervisory Agency (BPOM).
