Jakarta. Indonesian media personality Deddy Corbuzier and his wife Sabrina Chairunnisa have agreed to end their three-year marriage amicably, describing the decision as mutual and without regret, according to Sabrina’s social media statement on Wednesday.

In a post on Instagram, Sabrina said the couple decided to go their separate ways after careful consideration and without conflict.

“We both agreed to walk our own paths -- not out of anger, but out of love, honesty, and peace,” she wrote.

“We are grateful for everything we have shared and will always wish the best for one another.”

She added that there was “no drama” behind their decision and that they would continue to maintain a good relationship despite the separation.

The Tigaraksa Religious Court in Tangerang confirmed that Sabrina filed for divorce on October 16.

“There was a request that the filing not be made public, and we respected that,” court spokesperson M. Sholahudin told reporters.

Deddy, 48, whose full name is Deodatus Andreas Deddy Cahyadi Sunjoyo, confirmed the divorce on his social media posts.

“Love also means giving someone the chance to live the life they deserve. I will always be grateful to her for everything she has done and for all that she is,” Deddy wrote.

It will be his second marriage, following his earlier union with Kalina Ocktaranny from 2005 to 2013, with whom he has a son.

One of Indonesia’s most influential media figures, Deddy rose to fame as a mentalist before becoming a top YouTube podcaster, attracting millions of followers and hosting high-profile guests, including Sri Mulyani Indrawati and Prabowo Subianto.

Beyond his digital presence, Deddy has starred in several films, hosted numerous television shows, and endorsed major health and supplement brands.

In 2023, then-Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto awarded Deddy an honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel. After Prabowo became president, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin appointed Deddy as a special aide for public communication in February 2025. Later that month, Deddy publicly announced he would refuse any salary or payment for the role.
