The National Meeting (RAKERNAS) is organized in the framework of evaluating the work program in order to realize the achievement of SEKAR TELKOM organizational mission.

Chairman of SEKAR Telkom, ASEP MULYANA, said that the 6th REMINDER THEME is "Encouraging Solidity, Improving Board Competence, and Building Effective Industrial Relations with Stakeholders of the Union". This theme is a reflection of the needs of the contemporary organization whose formulation of action is expected to be answered in this RAKERNAS. Therefore, the Chairman of SEKAR TELKOM delivers the message to all Working Meeting participants to be able to participate actively in every agenda and contribute the best ideas and thoughts to SEKAR progress so that the 6th RAKERNAS produces the best output.

RAKERNAS VI SEKAR TELKOM presents experts to enlighten participants in various fields of knowledge that are relevant to the union struggle, packaged in panel discussions, which will be used to increase the breadth of insight and knowledge in order to improve the quality of self.

RAKERNAS Forum is also a forum for a friendship of fellow activists union. This rare opportunity is used to know each other up close. By getting to know each other personally, a bit will affect relations at the organizational level. From that foundation, we build solidity and solidarity, as a prerequisite for the achievement of union missions.

The output of RAKERNAS VI is expected to be a new work program on the evaluation of the implementation of the mandate of the National Assembly VI of March 2016. In addition, RAKERNAS will also produce recommendations that will be addressed to the parties, among others to the government, management, and other union stakeholders.

Based on remarks from the Chairman of the Committee RAKERNAS VI Teguh Herman P., RAKERNAS this time attended by 365 delegates from all over Indonesia. Includes representatives from 9 Regions and 69 Regions, consisting of 99 Participants, 209 reviewers, 57 invited guests, including from the State Enterprise Workers Union both from West Sumatra and national areas, or a total of approximately 400 envoys are present in this activity.

In addition, the management of RAKERNAS activities is done with a digital approach, through a digital platform, the Event Management System. Where with this EMS we can do presences digitally, sharing content or material digitally, the process of interaction of participants with the delivery, and participants with the speakers also done digitally. As well as some other management content such as polling, photo sharing, frequently asked questions, all can be done digitally.

The participants of the RAKERNAS, in addition to discussions to evaluate the work program, also had the opportunity to add insights through the Discussion Panel with speakers brought in from external, from academics, industry, goverment and guest speakers from the Ministry of Manpower and from Telecom Workers Union of Malaysia namely Mr Mohd Jafar bin Abd. Majid, KMW, PPN, PMC, in addition was also attended by the Chairman of the Federation of Strategic Enterprises BUMN Mr. Wisnu Adhi Wuryanto.

We chose Padang city as RAKERNAS location on the basis of some considerations, among others that the city of Padang is comfortable and beautiful, has a rich historical and cultural background. Bukit Tinggi was once the seat of emergency government of the Republic of Indonesia. West Sumatra also gave birth to very famous national figures. Employee Union members from all over Indonesia are invited here to witness the history of Indonesia in this province, and hopefully take the spirit of the nation's leaders.
