BREN, Indokripto Among Top Losers as IDX Loses $52 Billion After Brutal Week
Jakarta. The Indonesia Stock Exchange lost Rp899 trillion ($52 billion) in market capitalization after a punishing week in which the benchmark stock index fell 6.61% to close at 7,129.4.
Total market capitalization on the exchange declined 6.59% to Rp12,736 trillion ($736.6 billion), down from Rp13,635 trillion ($788.6 billion) a week earlier.
“However, the average daily trading volume on the IDX increased this week by 4.44% to 44.88 billion shares from 42.98 billion shares in the previous week,” corporate secretary Aulia Noviana Utami Putri said in a statement on Saturday.
Although market conditions plunged sharply during the April 20–24 period, several stocks posted the biggest gains, with some even soaring as much as 94%.
Based on IDX data, shares of BSA Logistics Indonesia (WBSA) led the top gainers list with a 94.16% increase from Rp 685 to Rp 1,330. Shares of Citatah (CTTH) jumped 85.06% to Rp 161, DMS Propertindo (KOTA) surged 82.86% to Rp 128, and Bersama Mencapai Puncak (BAIK) rose 81.69% to Rp 665.
Meanwhile, shares of Bank Danamon Indonesia (BDMN) climbed 57.42% to Rp 4,030, Multitrend Indo (BABY) advanced 57.14% to Rp 330, and Paragon Karya Perkasa (PKPK) gained 44.4% to Rp 3,350.
Meanwhile, a total of 10 stocks were responsible for dragging down the IDX stock price index and entered the top losers list during this week’s trading.
Among the top losers, shares of Dian Swastatika Sentosa (DSSA) tumbled 37.85% to Rp 2,020 from Rp 3,250, while Ifishdeco (IFSH) dropped 32.79% to Rp 2,050 from Rp 3,050.
Shares of Barito Renewables Energy (BREN) fell 30.26% to Rp 4,620, Jaya Sukses Makmur Sentosa (RISE) declined 28.36% to Rp 1,705, and Indokripto Koin Semesta (COIN) plunged 19.57% to Rp 1,130.
Meanwhile, shares of Multipolar Technology (MLPT) slipped 18.97% to Rp 23,500, Red Planet Indonesia (PSKT) weakened 18.88% to Rp 232, Gowa Makassar Tourism Development (GMTD) fell 18.11% to Rp 1,560, MD Entertainment (FILM) dropped 17.95% to Rp 2,240, and Satria Mega Kencana (SOTS) declined 17.93% to Rp 1,030.
IDX average daily transaction frequency rose 1.09% to 2.75 million trades from 2.72 million in the prior week.
However, average daily transaction value fell 3.67% to Rp19.61 trillion from Rp20.36 trillion the week before.
Foreign investors recorded net sales of Rp2 trillion on Friday alone.
So far in 2026, overseas investors have posted cumulative net sales of Rp42.8 trillion, adding to pressure on Indonesian equities.
