Jakarta. B-Universe Media Holdings officially launched DGVeRS 2025: Celebrating Connectivity, Creativity & Community at The Dome Senayan Park (Spark), Central Jakarta, on Saturday.

Head of the Presidential Staff Office, M. Qodari, highlighted the significance of digital transformation in shaping Indonesia’s future, particularly in driving economic growth and expanding opportunities for the younger generation.

Speaking at the opening session, Qodari said digital platforms have become powerful tools for creativity, community building, and connectivity, making technology a central pillar of national development.

Qodari reflected on the lessons from the Covid-19 pandemic, when digital infrastructure proved vital in keeping schools open, sustaining businesses, and enabling people to stay connected.

He stressed that such experiences highlight the urgency of strengthening Indonesia’s digital backbone, as the nation now lives in “two worlds”, the physical and the virtual.

He also underlined the crucial role of the private sector in driving job creation, noting that most employment opportunities in Indonesia are generated by entrepreneurs and private companies.

“We must appreciate the contributions of businesses, because they have created the jobs that sustain our economy,” Qodari said.

The Chief of Staff further welcomed President Prabowo Subianto’s latest initiative to provide smart TVs to 330,000 schools across the archipelago, a program that is expected to reach 73 percent of institutions. According to him, the effort represents a major step in bridging gaps in access to digital tools and educational content, particularly for schools in remote regions.

“Ensuring equal access to digital resources is essential if Indonesia wants to progress and succeed in its digital transformation,” Qodari remarked, adding that the program will support education while accelerating the country’s long-term goal of building a stronger digital economy.

He also thanked B Universe Executive Chairman Enggartiasto Lukita for holding the DGVerse event with the Ministry of Communications and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), noting that such forums provide a useful space to exchange ideas on Indonesia’s digital future.
