Jakarta. PAM JAYA secured the Technology and Digital Innovation Award at the Beritasatu Appreciation Night 2025 held at Hotel Mulia, Senayan, on Thursday, Nov. 20. The recognition highlights the utility’s breakthrough at the Mookervart Water Treatment Plant (IPA Mookervart), which converts previously unusable raw water into safe drinking water for residents in West Jakarta.

The award underscores PAM JAYA’s push to expand access to safer and more affordable drinking water. Located in Daan Mogot, IPA Mookervart uses advanced purification technology and currently serves more than 500 customers in the surrounding area.

PAM JAYA Strategy and Business Director Anugrah Esa said the innovation is a key step toward achieving full drinking water coverage by 2029.

“We showcased the Mookervart technology that turns previously unsuitable water sources into safe drinking water. This solution has proven to be very helpful for residents in Daan Mogot and nearby areas,” Anugrah said.

He added that the plant’s impact is already tangible for local households.

“IPA Mookervart currently serves more than 500 customers. We hope this technology will widen access to safe and reliable drinking water, especially for residents of West Jakarta,” he said.

Looking ahead to 2026, PAM JAYA reaffirmed its commitment to improving service quality in line with its target of providing 100 percent drinking water coverage for all families in the capital by 2029.

The company said the award will further motivate its efforts in digital transformation and service upgrades in the coming years.
