Senior Economist Faisal Basri Dies at 65
Jakarta. Senior economist Faisal Basri had died on Thursday early morning.
He was 65 years old.
Education expert Darmaningtyas confirmed the news.
“I’m truly surprised and I would like to express my condolences for the passing of our incredibly critical and independent economist Faisal Basri on Sep. 5 at 3.50 a.m. at Mayapada Hospital in Kuningan, Jakarta,” Darmaningtyas said.

He also hoped that there would be more young people like Faisal Basri. As per writing, Faisal Basri’s cause of death is unknown.
