Jakarta Police Ready for Exhumation in Tamara Tyasmara's Son's Case
Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Police are set to perform the exhumation of the remains of Raden Andante Khalif Pramudityo, known as Dante, the 6-year-old child of actress Tamara Tyasmara and DJ Angger Dimas. Dante, whose death was linked to a suspected drowning in a swimming pool in Duren Sawit in East Jakarta, will have his remains exhumed at the Jeruk Purut public cemetery in South Jakarta on Tuesday.
Rovan Richard Mahenu, the Head of Special Crimes at Jakarta Metro Police, had informed Tamara about the exhumation plan and she consented to her son undergoing an autopsy. "We're probing into the circumstances of the victim's demise," he said.
Tamara visited the Jakarta Metro Police for questioning about her son's death and wrapped up the interrogation on Monday after enduring a six-hour session, responding to 15 questions. Several witnesses are also being examined in the case, including Tamara's driver.
Tamara's legal representative, Sandi Arifin, refrained from providing detailed information about the questions, citing their confidential nature. The inquiries were related to the circumstances surrounding Dante's tragic death. "The contents of the interrogation report cannot be disclosed by us. It's confidential. We won't divulge it; in essence, it covers the entire incident," he said
Previously, DJ Angger Dimas, the ex-husband of Tamara, raised suspicions of foul play in the tragic death of his son who lost his life at the Tirtamas Pondok Kelapa swimming pool in East Jakarta on Jan. 27, 2024, while under the supervision of Tamara, who was reportedly on set shooting for a television show.
"I cannot mention names, cannot provide confidential information," Dimas said when asked about the person suspected of causing his son's death.
On Saturday, the international DJ, known for collaborations with artists like Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Diplo, and Iggy Azalea, retracted the autopsy refusal letter he had initially signed. Dimas withdrew the letter to facilitate the investigation, suspecting that his son did not die from drowning but might have been deliberately harmed. The DJ is committed to ensuring a thorough examination of the circumstances surrounding his son's untimely demise.
