Jakarta. Leading media companies Disway National Network and B-Universe Media Holdings announced on Tuesday a new collaboration agreement that includes potential future content sharing.

The agreement was reached after a meeting between B-Universe Executive Chairman Enggartiasto Lukita and Disway Network Chief Executive Officer Yanto S. Utomo at El Building in South Jakarta.

Disway National Network operates a television network, newspapers, and online news portals across Java, Sumatra, and Kalimantan.

B-Universe publishes the Investor Daily newspaper, the Beritasatu news website, the news and entertainment broadcaster BTV, and the Jakarta Globe.

Enggartiasto emphasized the necessity of mutually beneficial collaborations between media companies to ensure their survival in the current era.

"On behalf of B-Universe Media Holdings, I am committed to expanding the reach of our news network and businesses,” Enggartiasto said after the meeting. "I anticipate a positive outcome from our collaboration with Disway National Network under the leadership of Mr. Yanto as we tackle future challenges in the media industry.”

Yanto expressed his company's enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying that the two media groups will combine their strengths and unique advantages to form one of Indonesia’s largest media networks.
