Indomie Maker Sees Rp 5.5 Trillion Profit in H1 2025, Up 56% YoY
Jakarta. Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur (ICBP), the producer of Indonesia’s iconic Indomie instant noodles, reported a 56 percent year-on-year jump in net profit to Rp 5.54 trillion ($335.6 million) for the first half of 2025, driven in part by reduced foreign exchange losses.
In a public filing on Thursday, the company credited the strong profit growth to improved financial stability compared to the same period last year.
“The operating profit margin remains strong at 22.5 percent, even though earnings before interest and tax declined slightly by 5 percent, from Rp 8.89 trillion to Rp 8.48 trillion,” said Anthoni Salim, President Director and CEO of Indofood CBP.
Indofood CBP is one of Indonesia’s largest consumer goods companies, offering a wide range of products -- from instant noodles and dairy to snacks, seasonings, food supplements, and beverages. The group manages more than 30 consumer brands aimed at all age groups and also operates its own packaging division.
Its flagship brand, Indomie, has gained international popularity, with over 60 production facilities across Indonesia and an additional 20 factories in Malaysia, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeastern Europe. The company also exports its products to more than 100 countries worldwide.
“We remain vigilant in the face of global uncertainties that could affect our business. Our focus is on maintaining easy access to our products, advancing product innovation, and implementing efficiency measures to support sustainable growth,” Anthoni said.
