HTK Exits HUMI with Rp 59b Sale Within Tommy Soeharto’s Group
Jakarta. Shipping company Humpuss Transportasi Kimia (HTK) has divested its entire stake in Humpuss Maritim Internasional (HUMI), an affiliate linked to the Humpuss Group of Tommy Soeharto, in a deal worth Rp 59.1 billion ($3.6 million).
HTK sold 1.18 billion HUMI shares at Rp 50 apiece on Sept. 26, 2025, according to a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday. The transaction means HTK no longer owns any HUMI shares, after previously holding 6.55 percent.
Management said the divestment was part of an investment strategy, with the share price set based on mutual agreement.
Both companies are part of the Humpuss Group, long associated with Tommy Soeharto, making the transaction effectively an intra-group restructuring rather than an arms-length sale.
Following the news, HUMI’s shares slipped 1.53 percent to Rp 129 in the first trading session on Thursday.
